School and district memberships are typically paid annually. We offer a District Coordinator license at no additional cost as well as discounted pricing for districts purchasing 5 or more licenses.

We understand that school and district funding can sometimes come with specific purchasing timelines or requirements. If your district needs to use funding during a particular time of year, we’re happy to be flexible with payment timing whenever possible. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to make the process as easy as possible.

We’ll send you a quote 1-2 months prior to your license(s) expiring to ensure you have plenty of notice to renew.

Our program was developed with school counselors in mind. That said, there are many other roles inside of education and children’s mental health that use our curriculum:

We also have several schools using team licenses so that a dean, assistant principal, or MTSS coordinator has access as well.

Your school or district membership provides 12 months of access from the date you are given access.

Your full-year membership includes access to everything available during your membership period, including special member experiences such as our Summer Book Study, Back-to-School Planapalooza, and other resources, trainings, and professional learning opportunities we offer throughout the year.

Please note the following details regarding our data practices and platform features:

Data Collection: Your Counseling Compass does not collect, store, or manage any personal data related to students. As a resource provider, our platform functions solely to deliver educational content to its members without gathering or utilizing student data. The only data collected and stored is educator names and email addresses.

Platform Hosting and Security: Our program is hosted on a self-managed WordPress platform, with membership access controlled through MemberPress, a dedicated membership management plugin. Our site is hosted by BigScoots, a managed WordPress hosting provider, and all traffic is encrypted via SSL/TLS. Payment processing is handled through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor, so we do not directly store or process credit card information on our servers. As we do not collect personal student data, our security measures focus on member account access, secure payment handling, and general data protection within the platform.

Access: Each counselor with a license to Your Counseling Compass receives a unique login. This allows us to provide individualized customer support, and for counselors to create a folder of saved or favorited resources.

We want getting started to feel simple and supported! Once your membership is set up, members receive Welcome Emails with helpful information about accessing and using Your Counseling Compass, along with short video tutorials to help your team get familiar with the site.

For districts with 15 or more licenses, we also include a complimentary 30-minute virtual onboarding session. This gives your team an opportunity to walk through the site, learn where to find resources, and ask any questions as you get started.

You’ll automatically receive our onboarding emails and resources when you join. If you’d prefer not to receive onboarding emails, that’s completely fine! Just email us and let us know, and we’ll be happy to opt you out.
